I think these presenatations are vulernable to the same critique I made of the debate. I have just posted a response to these more elaborate arguments.

...than on the faith they can justly claim.

If Craig's theism does not rest on evidence, then in what sense can he justly claim faith? If evidence is deficient, I do not think we can say that faith is truly justified.Ryan Joneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03684042101455314865noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26528625.post-87907380490436371602007-12-19T08:50:00.000-06:002007-12-19T08:50:00.000-06:00I can respect Craig's willingness to debate top sc...I can respect Craig's willingness to debate top scholars with opposing viewpoints. In that format, he can't indulge in the kind of excesses that seem to be the bread and butter of someone like Lee Strobel. On the other hand, I would be less likely to give him the benefit of the doubt when he does overreach since he has demonstrated the ability to present his views without exaggeration.Vinnyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08955726889682177434noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26528625.post-62506624032653946642007-12-18T12:08:00.000-06:002007-12-18T12:08:00.000-06:00Thanks for your comments, Vinny.I have just posted...Thanks for your comments, Vinny.

I have just posted my review of Craig's debate with Gerd Ludemann. Moreover, I think apologists like Craig only succeed in making theism look foolish by claiming that it rests on evidence they don't have rather than on the faith they can justly claim.Vinnyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08955726889682177434noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26528625.post-58210684678796012872007-12-14T23:24:00.000-06:002007-12-14T23:24:00.000-06:00Yes.Yes.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
